Scholarship Terms

1. Scholarship Coverage: The Global Faith Education Scholar Award ("Scholarship") covers 50% of the tuition fees for the duration of the eligible program at Emet Global University. It does not cover other expenses such as the application fee, books, supplies, or graduation fees.

2. Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be admitted to or currently enrolled in an eligible program at Emet Global University with a future start date.
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to Christian values.
  • The Scholarship is open to international and domestic students.

3. Application Deadlines: Applications for the Scholarship must be submitted within the designated periods:

  • Spring Application Period: January 1st to April 30th
  • Fall Application Period: August 1st to November 30th

4. Award Criteria:

  • The Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, character, and the applicant's alignment with the values and ethos of Emet Global University.
  • Recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee of Emet Global University.

5. Scholarship Duration: The Scholarship is awarded for the standard duration of the enrolled program, not exceeding 24 months. Extensions are not permitted.

6. Satisfactory Academic Progress: Recipients are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress, as defined by Emet Global University's academic policies, to retain the Scholarship.

7. Conduct: Recipients must adhere to all university policies and demonstrate behavior that reflects the values of Emet Global University. Misconduct may result in the revocation of the Scholarship.

8. Non-Transferability: The Scholarship is non-transferable. It cannot be applied to other programs, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another individual.

9. Revocation: The Scholarship may be revoked for the following reasons:

  • Failure to maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Violation of university policies or misconduct.
  • Withdrawal or dropping out from the program.
  • Failure to meet financial obligations to the university.

10. Repayment: In the event of revocation, the recipient may be required to repay the Scholarship amount applied to their tuition fees.

11. Deferment and Payment Plans: Recipients may be eligible for deferment payment plans for the remaining balance of tuition fees, subject to approval by the university's finance office.

12. Application and Selection Process:

  • Applicants must complete the Scholarship application form and submit all required documents within the application period.
  • The Scholarship Committee's decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions: Emet Global University reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship at any time without prior notice. Changes will be communicated to current recipients in writing.

14. Acceptance of Terms: By accepting the Scholarship, recipients agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and to participate in any promotional activities related to the Scholarship, if requested by Emet Global University.

These Terms and Conditions are intended to ensure fairness and transparency in the administration of the Global Faith Education Scholar Award and to support the academic and spiritual journey of the recipients within the Emet Global University community.
